ICOST 2017 welcomes high quality technical papers that describe original, completed or on-going, unpublished research. Submissions should report concrete, significant, and transferable results that help advance the state of the art in smart homes, assistive technologies and health telematics.
The ICOST 2017 Program will be a combination of presentations including scientific papers, posters and technology demonstrations. Prospective authors are invited, in the first instance, to submit papers for oral presentation in any of the areas of interest for this conference. The initial submission for evaluation should be in the form of a 4-12 page paper outline. The papers accepted will be assigned to oral sessions or poster sessions.
Submitted papers will be blindly peer reviewed by at least three members of the International Scientific and Program Committees. Papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. ICOST 2017 requires that submissions have not been published previously and that papers submitted were not under simultaneous review for any other conference, journal or other form of publication.
